Bob

Bob

We took Bob home only a couple of days ago. He’s settling in nicely. Loving the floor to ceiling windows. He could spend all day watching the bush turkeys in the trees.   Another adoption success
Pablo

Pablo

Hi there,   Phil and I just wanted to touch base to let you know how Pablo (previously known as Ozzie), has settled in.   the first couple of day’s he was a bit unsure of everything and whilst we know it’ll still take a while for him to trust us and know we are his people, I have to say, he has been an absolute pleasure so far!   He loves he belly rub time on the couch, he has made friends with the two Frenchies next door and goes absolutely bat sh*t crazy with excitement when we take him down the road to Curl Curl beach – where everyone in sight loves to pat him!   So many people have commented on what a handsome lad he is and how well behaved and friendly he is.   We bought him SEVERAL tennis balls (all of which have been destroyed ahah) so we think we should buy shares in a tennis ball company since we will be buying a tonne of them!   I’ve attached some pics for you to...

Lola the Boxer x is so content in her new home. She has a buddy to keep her company and is loving life!!
Sox has a home!

Sox has a home!

It was lovely to see the old girl Sox find a good home after quite some time with us. We are sure she will enjoy the rest of her life in her loving new home. Here is a note from her new owner:   It was lovely to meet you all yesterday. Sox has settled in well and had a good nights sleep inside with us. Our German shepherd Lizzie has been very friendly with her, no jealousy at all. Sox has had a good walk around our yard and has not reacted with the wild ducks or our pekin ducks. She has nice manners with her food and will sit on command. Thank you all for your help yesterday. I was very impressed how kind and caring you were. Kind regards Margaret and Geoff.      ...
Razz

Razz

G’day Just realised tomorrow is 4 years since we adopted Razz. If you still have the contact details for his original owners and think that they might like to see how he’s going I’ve attached a few pictures. He’s still cheeky; loves walks, scratches, food and his bed; and keeps our other dog, Rusty, in line when he’s up to no good. He’s awesome and definitely part of the...
Koda

Koda

Hi Guys! Just wanted to let you know that Koda has settled in really well and seems happy! He had something to eat within about 3 hours of arriving and so far has eaten everything we’ve offered him! He’s explored the house from top to bottom, (including all cupboards) He’s very cuddly and affectionate and loves sleeping under the covers in bed. He sleeps with me but usually gets up around 6am and goes around jumping into bed with anyone else he can find asleep for a bit of variety. We had friends over sat night and he coped really well, he came and slept on a few different laps and charmed everyone. He and our other cat are getting...
Loki & Monty

Loki & Monty

When our old cat of 16 years died we missed her so much we decided to look for a pair of elderly cats. In a few years we’ll want to be doing more travelling, so we didn’t want the long-term commitment of a young cat, and two bonded cats would provide company for each other while we’re out working. When we discovered Loki and Monty online, we thought they would be ideal, and so they are. They settled in immediately and are wonderful company. I renamed Monty ‘Idunn’ (or Edie for short), after the Old Norse goddess of youth. As Edie is 17.5 years old, I thought it would be a good name, and she is amazingly fit. The cats were apparently together from kittenhood and remain inside cats, though they do enjoy our courtyard when we’re home. They sleep on our bed and are just delightful and funny company. We know that with elderly cats, things can happen suddenly, but we hope for a few years with these two lovely...
Zazu

Zazu

We adopted Zazu on 28 November 2015. She was 6 yrs old when we adopted her. She was previously with a family for 6 years but they left her at animal adoption center because one on their kids have developed allergy to cats. She is the most friendliest cat and my kids adore her and spoiled her with kisses and hugs all the...

Buttons finds a home!

It’s lovely to see Buttons the ginger cat go off to a home where he will be loved and spoilt by his new owners. His previous owner had some health issues and was unable to care for him. Sadly she had no other option but to surrender him. Fortunately we have a no kill policy, so Buttons was sure to find a loving home no matter how long it took.  What a way to start off 2017 for...

What a wonderful dog Brax is. Here at the Animal Adoption Agency, we do our best to match the owners with the right animal. Sometimes it happens quickly and sometimes it doesn’t. Gizmo & Olivia

Gizmo & Olivia

A Day in the life of Olivia and Gizmo Mum and Dad are usually the first ones up in the morning meaning that they have to walk downstairs to let the dogs out so that they can use the backyard as their toilet. Olivia usually doesn’t even go to the toilet first though because being the social little dog she is, she usually bounds up the stairs in search of the kids. All we hear, while we are still half asleep is the pitter patter of her tiny feet racing up the stairs to greet us hello. Gizmo’s footsteps heard no longer after hers. Olivia usually has a little jacket on during the day as she gets colder easier than Gizmo. We were surprised to see how fast their hair grew, not too long after we got them from the adoption agency we got them pampered and all their hair trimmed but Olivia’s hair was cut too short and we could no longer put a little bow in her hair. Olivia and Gizmo have very different personalities as you may know, we have figured out by observation that Olivia, nicknamed Livy, sees herself as the leader of the pack. She likes to take charge and it’s almost as if she bosses Gizmo around. Whereas Gizmo, nicknamed Gizzy or Fluffy, is the protector of our home, barking at every single visitor and running around the garden frantically as if the birds are going to invade the house and take all the food. We have been so happy to have these adorable little bundles of fluff in our house and every...

Lila

Lila

About 4 weeks ago now, we adopted a beautiful 5 year old lilac Burmese cat after her owner had to move overseas. She is now in Manly, sharing a house with Ned (4), Tess (2), mum and dad. After hiding in her bathroom for about a week, I am pleased to say she has become part of our family and loves the attention from the kids. And in true Burmese style, just loves being near people as you can see from the photos. If you get a chance, please let her previous owner know how thankful we are and how settled she is. She is a much loved...

Razz

Hi guys Just letting you know Razz got home with us no worries. There were a couple barks but nothing serious. Razz is so well mannered and behaved. Sam

Sam

Sam was the longest resident here at the Animal Adoption Agency. 28 months!!! His profile has been viewed over 6000 times & finally found the perfect home. So after all Sam, the wait was worth it! “He has fitted in very well , and both us and him are having a grand time !! Many thanks for letting us have...
Max

Max

Hi Lee, I just wanted to send you a note, to let you know how well Max (AKA Ice) has fitted into our family 🙂 It took him a few weeks to settle in, but now it feels like he has always been here. He adores my older female dog (Ruby) and she has taken to him really well… she even licks his little face (Awwww!….) Max now answers to his name, sleeps in my bedroom in his bed, comes with us on morning and evening walks and is an absolute joy to have around. He likes his toys and I think would chase his ball until he flops (so I make sure he has plenty of in between rests!! Lol). He didn’t seem to mind wearing a collar, but I found a small harness seems to work better for him for walking on a lead (which he now does very well!).. and he stays close when off lead in the park or on a river walk. He is a super little dog, with a great temperament and a cheeky personality. It’s lovely to have 2 dogs again. I have attached a few pics of Max and Ruby I am extremely pleased that I have him....

Hi – Its Sam’s new Mum from SA. Just a quick note if you want to let the previous owners of Sam (KCC) know that he has settled in beautifully. He is so loved and so happy in our home. he loves everyone and every dog. I have always owned dogs but i have never before owned such a placcid dog. I cant believe how lucky we are. he has really connected with our 3 year old daughter and they go every where together. We have continued his diet of ‘science diet’ biscuits and a chicken wing which we chop up slightly. He sleeps in the loungeroom curled up next to our border collie. He always has company because if we go out for the day he visits my inlaws and plays with their 3 dogs on their big property. We just adore Sam and cant thankyou enough for him. Attached are a few...

Lexie

Lexie

Thought you might enjoy seeing how Lexie is fitting in beautifully with her new family. As you can see she has the perfect beach nearby to chase that stick or just tear around in the surf. She has found the lounge! but has the best manners and only got up after being invited to. she is a gentle soul and much loved, loves to lie under your chair or nearby. Enjoys having a run and playing with two other Labrador friends, Charlotte and Claudious. Riley the Burmese has come to an agreement and the friendship grows every day. She loves chasing the ball, sqeaky toys etc and again with perfect manners. We congradulate the person who put in all that effort in training Lexie as they have done a wonderful job. She is building in her confidence when she has to stay at home by herself (not often) as everyday she has Jim for company and walks. We are so happy to have come out that day to meet Lexie and take her home with us and we are sure Lexie is too as we can see she is very settled and...

Hulk

Hulk

Just giving you some pictures and an update on Hulk. He’s settled into our home fantastically and adopted our pup Greg as his younger “brother” the day we brought him home. You wouldn’t believe how patient he’s been as Greg went through his chewing stage by mainly chomping on various part’s of Hulk’s head and ears. The two of them get along amazingly well and are now inseparable; they do everything together (both good and naughty haha) and we can’t imagine life without him. We’d like to give all your team a massive thanks for your help, but especially for introducing us to a wonderful little boy named Hulk. He’s just a beautiful little soul. Thanks...
